The general ergonomics are thoughtfully designed to allow all the comfort for the crew, with everything having its place on board. The materials chosen for the design always meet the standards of strength, stiffness, and lightness.

Manufacturer Provided Description
The RS57 is a custom-built, epoxy plywood motor catamaran, powered by two Yanmar 75HP engines, offering great autonomy. Built by RIVESSUD shipyard in Sète, the catamaran was completed in 2018 and not sailed until 2022 when it was certified by the new owner. The RS57 was designed by architect David Réard.
The Strip Planking construction for the hull bottoms, and Plywood/Epoxy/Glass for everything else results in a very stiff and light chassis, making it possible to achieve high fuel efficiency (1L/mile at 8 knots). The mid-load fuel autonomy allows for an extended range of navigation.
This catamaran is perfect for a family or a couple welcoming friends, or for people with a professional project, such as day charters. It is built for a crew who appreciates the economy and quiet operation, inspired by the navigation philosophy of multihull sailboats.
Performance may not appeal to speed enthusiasts, but it is ideally suited for expedition sailing. The boat is in nearly new condition (500 hours on the engine).
